1. The political and legal form of organization of the State is the unicameral parliamentary republic and not a presidential republic.

In order to fight against social injustice, poverty, violent conflicts, economic inequality, environmental degradation and corruption, the governing principles of the legal status of the Catalan republic are: freedom, justice, equal rights and obligations, culture, solidarity, human rights, diversity and peace.
