1. Catalonia is firmly committed to joining the United Nations as a full member.

2. Catalonia wishes to remain part of the European Union, and become its 29th state in the shortest possible time.

3. Consequently, the Catalan Parliament and the Government will take the necessary steps to remain within the above mentioned bodies, or where appropriate, seek our integration in the shortest time permitted under international legislation.
